Can I just say that the wellbeing course was such a positive experience and well worth doing in any organisation. The staff really benefitted from this.
Outstanding content, presented really well. Séamus's positive & calm tone meant I was fully engaged for the entire session. A brilliant job.
Though provoking session delivered in your own authentic style. Great structure, content, and engagement, but how you present, Séamus, is the key to the quality of these sessions. Well done!
Really enjoyed your sessions Séamus, you have a lot of knowledge to impart, and do so in a thoroughly engaging manner. Loved it!
Meet Your Wellbeing Coach
My name is Séamus Ruane. Throughout my career as a community pharmacist I have seen first hand the effects, both positive and negative, that lifestyle can have on a person’s health and vitality.
I have noticed an increase in lifestyle related illnesses and feel uncomfortable with the numbers of people on long term, multiple medications, sometimes for conditions that can be greatly improved by making simple, consistent lifestyle changes.
I believe that by making a few key interventions people can do so much to positively influence their own wellbeing and life satisfaction.
Many of our negative lifestyle choices are not seen as such because they have been normalised by society. Our attitudes to diet, exercise, stress, work life balance, achievement and success often steer us in a direction that is detrimental to our wellbeing.
I have studied Stress Management, Yoga, Clinical Hypnosis, and hold a certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from the Flourishing Center, New York , one of the world’s leaders in the field of Positive Psychology training.
I aim to use this knowledge to assist teams and individuals increase their wellbeing and vitality and to make positive & lasting changes to their lives.
